Over the past couple of weeks, Iron Studios has been soliciting a crazy amount of Avengers: Endgame BDS statues. What do we mean by BDS? I am glad you asked. BDS stands for Battle Diorama Series (BDS) Statue. Iron Studios takes and individual character (sometimes two), and puts them on a generic war-torn diorama base. When you put all of the statues together (they don’t actually piece together, the aesthetic puts them on the same “battlefield”) the look like they are in the same vicinity.
The company has solicited quite a few of these things to this point. In fact their are 18 different statues in this line (not counting variants). So just how much space would you need to display all of them if you purchased every single one?
Thankfully a kind soul on Facebook (Primo Collectibles) is attending this weekend’s WonderFest Shanghai 2019, and Iron Studios has a battle diorama on display. Primo Collectibles took a wonderful video of not only the diorama to give you an idea of how much retail space this would take up (around the 30 second mark), but also of some other wonderful Marvel items that Iron Studios has on display at their booth. Check out the video below!
