Back in August, Boss Fight Studio announced that they had acquired the license to produce 4″ action figures for the hit Netflix series The Umbrella Academy. I was really hoping that they would be in their H.A.C.K.S. line (Highly Articulated Character Kit System), and Boss Fight Studio did not disappoint.
Thanks to a recent social media post, the company revealed the designs for the character of Cha-Cha played by Mary J. Blige. It seems the figure will come with a ton of accessories including a stand, second masked head, multiple hands, canister, briefcase, Smith and Wesson 5906, and a M-40.
Not only are we getting an awesome action figure, but these are brand new parts that can be used when customizing other action figures. The H.A.C.K.S. system makes it easy to customize between all the figures under that “umbrella”.

Launched in 2013, Boss Fight Studio originally brought their fan favorite Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. IP to market, allowing for easy customization and playability of toys. As the company grew, they’ve expanded to host some exciting licenses bringing that same high articulation and attention to detail to fan-loved brands. Umbrella Academy is the latest brand added to the portfolio.
